Following the closure of AppSelect last year, we have now concluded activities related to the shutdown of this service. As a result, the SIS upload portal has been closed and will no longer be accessible.
Vodafone will continue to offer opportunities to developers to monetise their applications through services like the Vodafone Payment API and promotion via our distribution channels. Please continue to check on this website for the latest news and new exciting opportunities.

Update (16th October 2012) - AppSelect will close on 21st November 2012.
In light of the number and variety of application stores already available to our customers, Vodafone has been reviewing its own AppSelect service. The review has now concluded and Vodafone has decided to phase out AppSelect by 31 January 2013 at the latest, as its customers are already well-served by existing application stores. Other Vodafone content services will not be affected and our Emerging Market Apps Store is still accepting applications.

Apps Publishing Platform Planned Outage and update

Over the coming weeks we’ll be making a number of changes to the Vodafone Apps Publication Platform. These changes will be related to the following:
- A new improved, streamlined publication platform including a new front-end for developers, updates to your reporting, device configuration and front-end user management.
- The introduction of charge to bill in-app billing which introduces new opportunities for you to monetise your apps, including micro transactions and demo versions.

UPDATE: 19th February - The Vodafone Private handset Cloud Service is back up and online now.
We are planning scheduled maintenance to the Vodafone Private handset Cloud Service (http://developer.vodafone.com/develop-apps/test/) and as a result the platform will be taken offline from 10:00 (GMT) Saturday 18th February 2012. Expected time offline will be approximately 24 hours, we will post an update as soon as the platform is back online. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
