Hi all,
I 've a bit of counfusion about all SDKs for developing Widget, anyone can help me?
From Betavine i downloaded App manager 1.0 for developers, i built my widgets (which was working fine)but once i submitted to vodafone, they found problems and didn't publish.

They said they tried in their Official App manager (3.1).

The question is:

Which SDK i've to download in order to develop widget perfectly compatible with their platform?
And where to download?

Thanks in advance for any reply

Hi Carmelo, Good to hear that you were able to find and solve the problem this quickly, congratulations on having your widget published! I'm also looking forward to start selling my apps through the JIL platform sometime this month, I've got 8 widgets ready and I can hardly wait ;-) Best regards, Ernst .IMAGINE .DESIGN .DEVELOP .ENJOY!

Hi Ernst, thanks for your reply. I did like you suggested, i tried on App manager 3 and i solved already all the problems. I uploaded for QA and they published this time :) Next time i wanna publish apps for selling, but for this, it seems i've to wait the official Opening at Jil, they said to me not later than Half March or Enf March. Have a good day and thanks again for your reply Carmelo.

Hi Tcb2k10, I'm sorry to hear that, after extensive developing, your widget did not pass the QA process. As far as I know, the only SDK that has to be downloaded to develop compatible widgets can be found at the JIL website: http://jil.vodafone-developer.com/ Scroll down to the section "Development Tools and Publishing" and there you can download the "Vodafone Widget SDK" for Windows, Mac and Linux. As part of the SDK you can find a later version (3.0) of the App Manager for S60v3 (VodafoneAppsManager_Dev_V3_3.0.sis) and S60v5 (VodafoneAppsManager_Dev_V5_3.0.sis) devices which should more closely resemble the official app manager 3.1. Using that you should be able to reproduce the problems that the QA team encountered and see the reason why they did not publish your widget. Good luck with further development! Best regards, Ernst
