Number Lookup Overview
Number Lookup is an API for identifying whether Vodafone is the current manager/owner of an MSISDN. It enables Service Providers to identify which MNO is currently managing the MSISDN. This is needed because some countries do not have a central number portability service.
It can be used in conjunction with Vodafone's Call Divert API. After the Number Lookup API responds with ' true' ( i.e. the number belongs to Vodafone network ), you can then use the Call Divert API to get more information about the MSISDN.

Key Features
- Seamless verification of the mobile number in real-time
- If the mobile number is owned by Vodafone or an MVNOs on Vodafone, it returns a 'true' response.
- If the mobile number is NOT owned by Vodafone or an MVNOs on Vodafone, it returns a '400' error code.
How it works
- A Service Provider wants to check whether Vodafone is the current manager/owner of an MSISDN.
- The Service Provider sends the phone number to the Number Lookup API.
- The Number Lookup API checks in real-time whether the phone number is owned or managed by Vodafone.
- The API responds with True/False (400 error) as to whether the MSISDN is owned or managed by Vodafone.
